Lonzo Ball stands pat in second All-Star voting returns

Westbrook says Adams is'definitely worthy of being an All-Star

LeBron still leads all vote-getters with almost 2.8 million votes, while the Greek Freak leads the Eastern Conference with 2.67 million, slightly ahead of Kyrie Irving. This round of voting returns revealed that Doncic has actually passed Curry in a fairly stunning move to become the second leading vote-getter in the Western Conference.

Toronto Raptors forward Kawhi Leonard remains in second place among Eastern Conference forwards after the second return of National Basketball Association all-star voting.

Hornets guard Kemba Walker is on the outside of being an All-Star Game starter in Charlotte next month, based on a running tally of fan votes the National Basketball Association announced Thursday.

With voting still under way, George is part of a Western Conference starting five led by James and also featuring Dallas Mavericks rookie Luka Doncic, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Derrick Rose and Durant's Golden State Warriors teammate Stephen Curry. Current NBA players and a panel of basketball media each account for 25% of the remaining vote. Unlike last season, though, the actual selection of the teams will reportedly be televised.

National Basketball Association players and media member votes account for 25 per cent each. Yet, the sixth-year center is sixth in the Western Conference in votes among frontcourt players, and has expanded his lead on Denver's Nikola Jokic to almost 300,000 votes. The Charlotte Hornets' Kemba Walker (858,798) continues to hold third place, while Philadelphia's Ben Simmons (695,032) remains in fourth place.

The two guards and three front-court players with the best score in each conference will be named NBA All-Star Game starters. All-Star reserves, decided by a vote of the league's head coaches, will be announced January 31.
