Redmi Note 7 debuts with 48MP camera at an incredible price

Xiaomi has been celebrating its fifth anniversary in India with five surprises for its fans. The Chinese company has so far made four announcements which include price discounts on its best-selling phones. According to the official introduction, the Redmi Note 7 supports dust and splash protection.

After slashing the prices of Redmi Note 5 Pro, Mi A2, Redmi Y2, Redmi 6 Pro Xiaomi now reduces the price of Redmi 6 in India. And even though there's no information about the price, considering the unbelievable price tag of Redmi Note 7, it's safe to assume that the Pro variant will launch at an equally (if not more) incredible price. After the price cut the 3GB RAM/32GB model of the phone now retails at Rs 9,999 while the 4GB/64GB storage variant of Redmi 6 Pro has been reduced to Rs 11,999. Both the variants if the Redmi 6 with the new price will be available on Mi.com, Mi Home, Flipkart and offline stores.

Earlier this week, Xiaomi announced price drops on three of its smartphones. The mid variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory costs CNY 1,199 (approximately Rs. 12,400). In comparison, the Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with a 6.26-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display paired with a 19:9 aspect ratio.


According to reports, Redmi will release another device soon, a Redmi Note 7 Pro, which will be a souped-up version of the just-launched Redmi Note 7. Under the hood, the Redmi 6 is powered by Helio P22 processor. Compared to the Redmi Note 6 Pro, the Redmi Note 7 is a major upgrade.

The smartphone has a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies.

Redmi Note 7 Battery: Packed with 4000 mAh battery, the phone also supports Quick Charge 4. The smartphone offers AI-based face unlock and fingerprint sensor for authentication. It comes in Black, Gold, Rose Gold, and Blue colour options.
