Sniper Elite V2 Remastered Confirmed, Sniper Elite 5 Coming in 2020

Sniper Elite

In case you didn't catch it in the trailer, Sniper Elite V2 Remastered will launch for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch in 2019!

The remaster will have updated textures, more playable characters and new multiplayer options. Presumably, this is going to be called Sniper Elite 5, but at the moment, details are relatively scarce. Those games are as follows, Sniper Elite V2 Remastered and Sniper Elite III: Ultimate Edition. Sniper Elite V2 Remastered will be released both digitally and at retail later this year.

There is also a new standalone Sniper Elite VR game in development alongside British studio Just Add Water (Oddworld, Gravity Crash). In addition, this version supports the Switch's motion controls.

The next major title in the Sniper Elite series, following in the footsteps of the widely acclaimed Sniper Elite 4, is being worked on now. Not a name, premise or setting. Unfortunately, Rebellion has stated that more details surrounding this release will not be revealed until 2020, which is fine considering all the new tasty projects that are on the heading our way later this year. It could definitely be optimal for the device. The games put players in a what-if scenario of actual world history.

I know I promised you four projects, but I'll confess that the other two aren't quite as PC-centric as those I've just mentioned. Though the kill was pretty fishy since Hitler had two balls there, maybe a body double?

Listen, I swear I'm not a serial killer in training, but hot damn if that X-Ray cam isn't one of the best ideas in all of video games today. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ports do seem likely though since all the previous titles except for the original game have been released on consoles.
