Pokemon Rumble Rush Adds To Expanding List Of Pokemon Games

Another Pokemon Mobile Game Announced, Out Now In Some Regions

The game was unveiled in Japan this morning as Pokemon Scramble SP, but it's going to be known as Pokemon Rumble Rush in the West.

From nowhere, The Pokemon Company has announced and released a new mobile game.

Two years ago, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company revealed a mobile game called Pokeland that seemed to borrow heavily from the Pokemon Rumble series.

Pokemon Rumble Rush, a game for mobile, launched in Australia and will soon be available in more regions.

Pokemon Rumble Rush, a free-to-play mobile game, has been announced for iOS and Android.

Players will also have the chance to encounter hundreds of different species of Pokemon, including Legendary and Mythical species, as they play Pokemon Rumble Rush. These included the original 2009 Pokemon Rumble, then Pokemon Rumble Blast, Pokemon Rumble U, and Pokemon Rumble World. Players can upgrade Pokemon by utilizing "power gears", or they can summon particularly powerful Pokemon like Charizard by using a "mobilize gear".

This soft launch in Australia was first spotted by Android Police, and it hints at an official announcement soon. If you see enemy Pokémon, you can attack by just tapping the screen.

"Pokemon Rumble Rush" is already available for download from the Aussie Play Store.

The tutorial has you playing as Rattata on an island infested with Bulbasaur.

The Pokemon Rumble franchise takes some of the cutest creatures from GameFreak's JRPG series and pits them together in an arcade style beat'em up. Once refined, ores can enhance a "Pokemon's" stats or increase their CP, which, as mentioned above needs to be increased as players progress in the game.
