Google Pixel 4 leaked schematics show square camera bump, missing fingerprint scanner

Here's the first look of Upcoming Google Pixel 4 Smartphone: Leak

The possibilities are endless, and the fact that the radar allows precise movements to be tracked and recorded means that users could have awesome control over their phone. The project comes from Google's Advanced Technology and Projects (ATAP) in-house technology incubator and was introduced back in 2015. A video released back in 2015 imagines a smartwatch and a smart speaker being controlled using hand gestures.

The Pixel 3a XL is certainly a good deal at US$479 with its excellent cameras and its decent battery life, but Google has made some compromises to keep the price down. However, the new leak suggests that the Pixel 4 duo could be the first smartphones from the company to sport multiple camera sensors.

Other notable tidbits include the fact that the Pixel 4 line won't include a physical fingerprint sensor. Forget them, as a new set of Pixel 4 renders totally contradicts everything we've seen so far, with a twist of taking a page out of Apple's alleged 2019 iPhone 11 design.

The hands-on images were put up Slashleaks and appeared to be legit images showcased the Pixel 4 device featuring the already expected punch-hole display on the front.

With the official unveiling of Google's highly-anticipated Pixel 4 lineup now just a few months away, a number of high-profile leaks have recently shed a bit more light on what we can expect to see out of Google's next-gen smartphone models. After all, it is going to take some energy to run a radar-based gesture system that will always be on. The company is now running a promotion on the Pixel 3 XL, the more refined and more premium sibling to the 3a XL.
