John Cena Officially Part Of Fast & Furious Franchise

John Cena Confirmed for Fast and Furious 9

John Cena has officially joined the cast of Fast & Furious 9.

Now Deadline has confirmed that Cena will indeed join Dom Toretto and his crew, reportedly playing "a badass." . That's not hard to imagine in the slightest given John Cena's reputation and some of his previous roles, but that'll nonetheless make him a good fit for the next Fast and Furious movie.

Fellow WWE legend Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will not be part of Fast & Furious 9. Stay tuned for those updates as they roll in, and do check out Cena's performance in Bumblebee if you haven't already.

Previously Vin Diesel had hinted that Cena would be involved in the movie when he posted a mysterious Instagram video in April.

"For almost 20 years, the Fast Franchise has entertained fans and created some of the biggest cinematic moments in history".

Nothing much is known about the role of Cena and the character is under wraps. I'm exhausted of being a writer and an actress, you know?

The first Fast & Furious spinoff, Hobbs & Shaw will be released in theatres later this August. He's working from a screenplay by Dan Casey, who penned the script for Josh and Jonathan Baker's intriguing sci-fi thriller Kin. We know, we know: John Cena? Production starts later this month for a May 22, 2020 release; Diesel is also producing the flick.
