Tie-Dye Frappuccinos Launching At Starbucks For Limited Time

The Starbucks Tie Dye Frappuccino before and after it starts to melt

Starbucks is hoping to replicate the success it had with the Unicorn Frappuccino in 2017.

Starbucks announced a new Tie-Dye Frappuccino on Wednesday that will most likely be all over our Instagram feeds in the coming days.

The drink is topped with vanilla whipped cream, and dusted with yellow, red and blue powder, coming from turmeric, red beet and spirulina. Even with all the reservations about this new trendy drink, we chose to order the beverage just to see if it was even worth all the hype.

What do you think of Starbucks' latest drink concept?

The icy blended drink is available only at participating stores in the United States and Canada for the next five days, or as long as supplies last. Starbucks eagerly jumped on the bandwagon with their Unicorn Frappucino, the pink and blue beverage that sold out and left baristas grumbling over the hard to make beverage. This combination reportedly creates a "tropical fruit flavor" in the beverage.

Here's what the Starbucks Tie-Dye Frappuccino tastes like. Perhaps, like my experience, it was at summer camp as you marveled at those cool, colorful concentric circles you could make by rubber-banding part of a plain white T and dipping it into various buckets of brightly-tinted dyes.

If you go to Starbucks today, brace yourself for a wait.
