TRACKING: Severe storms possible Sunday afternoon in Mid-Michigan

Storm chances return: Northeast Ohio Thursday weather forecast

One the storms passed through, clouds cleared and sunshine returned.

There will be a break in the storms once they pass east of the area, but more storms could develop later this morning. The main threats include damaging winds, hail and heavy downpours. Given the fact that morning storms have moved through Chicago, northern Illinois' chance of severe weather seems lower. Heat index values or "feels like" temperatures will peak into the mid to upper 90s!

Tonight: Partly Cloudy, Isolated Shower/Storm. Highs will be in the low to mid 90s again Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday! The hottest day is looking like Monday with the best chance for the longest stretch of dry time. Central Indiana is not included in the watch, but we are closely monitoring the situation for the late afternoon/evening hours.

Then, the stormy pattern picks back up, with a cold front moving into the state, from the northwest Tuesday night. These winds will help bring us temperatures in the middle 80s rather quickly with a nice dose of humidity. We'll have to wait until Friday to see the dramatic drop off in both temperatures and humidity.

Fri: High: 90 Low: 69 Mostly sunny with overnight storms.
