Hands-on video highlights Google’s striking new color option for the Pixel 4

As per a leak by tipster Evan Blass, Google might be launching its upcoming Pixel devices on 15 October.

Google is expected to unveil the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL early next month. You can also see from these photos that the Pixel 4 XL no longer has a notch, but a bezel like the standard Pixel 3.

While many phone makers seem to be under the impression that bigger is better, Google could actually be shrinking the screen on the Pixel 4 XL, albeit only slightly. However, the leaked images doesn't show these features yet, but we reckon software updates will implement them into the Google Pixel 4. Also, in this series, the company can use the "Soli" project, which has been working for a long time. The phone is already confirmed to feature Soli radar chip for motion sensing and more.

With all the leaks and hands-on images surfacing, we believe the Pixel 4 series is nearly ready to be unveiled. While their "reliable source" says that the Pixel 4 series will get a Snapdragon 855 processor, upgrading from the Pixel 3's Snapdragon 845, more notable is the display. As per the reports, the device would pack a 6.23-inch display with a resolution of 1,440 x 3,040 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio, and 540ppi pixel density.

Google has included various hand gestures to control the device, some of the images have been shared to clarify the Motion Sense Feature and its settings menu. At the core, it is expected to house the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 SoC along with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage options. The phone comes with Android 10 out-of-the-box, which is visible from the Google assistant seen at the bottom. Of note, the iPhone 11 will have been selling in stores for almost a month by the time Pixel 4 is available to buyers.
