TV Line reports that Bowen Yang, Chloe Fineman, and Shane Gillis will join the cast when it returns on September 28.

A resurfaced video from 2018 that was initially posted to YouTube shows newly minted "Saturday Night Live" cast member Shane Gillis using racial slurs to describe Asians. However, it seems like she may be the only cast member leaving at this time.

Leslie Jones, who joined the show after it was criticized in 2013 for the absence of an African-American woman among its regular or featured players, is focusing on stand-up and movies and won't be back this season. He co-hosts the podcast, Las Culturistas. She has also appeared on popular television shows like Jane the Virgin, Search Party and Grown-ish.

In a clip (embedded below) from "Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast", dated September 2018 and brought to light on Twitter by freelance writer Seth Simons, Gillis refers to "the f-king ch-nks" while riffing with cohost Matt McCusker on Chinatown's architecture and restaurants.

In addition to hilariously impersonating public figures including Elizabeth Holmes, Timothée Chalamet and Lindsay Lohan for her almost 65,000 Instagram followers, Chloe Fineman is a veteran of The Groundlings, a Los Angeles-based improv and sketch comedy troupe which counts Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig among its alumni, and she was named a New Face at the 2018 Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. Lorne Michaels is the creator and executive producer.

Calls for comment from NBC and Saturday Night Live were not immediately returned.
