Ballots mailed out for November general election

In Guelph the Elections Canada office is located at 292 Speedvale Ave.

You can find more information on ID options here. And you must live in the Prince Albert riding to vote here.

If you have recently moved or need to update your voting information, you can do so using the online service or at any Elections Canada office before October 15 at 6 p.m. or on election day (Oct. 21).

Hollick notes that while he's expecting a steady turn out for the coming four days, his office has been taking voters since the election was called last month.

In addition, the New Bedford Election Commission office will be open on Saturday, November 2, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon to give voters additional time to cast an absentee ballot.

Marantz said the advanced voting trend was reflected nationally with turnout doubling in the 2015 election.

The general voting day is October 21.

Elections Canada is not accepting ballots it receives later than 6 p.m. on October 21.

By now, you should have received your voter information card in the mail.

No. If you'd like to share your experience and encourage others to vote, you are permitted to take a photo outside the polling station.

There are 1,305 advance polling stations in Ontario and 3,802 in Canada.

Voters can also vote at any Elections Canada office prior to 6 p.m. on October 15.

You'll need to have proof of identity and proof of address.

The ballots will look like "LAST NAME, First name" and will require you to mark an "X" on the blank circle next to your chosen candidate.

Canadian voters can begin casting their ballots this weekend, even though the federal election is still over a week away.

The country's top court ruled the restriction unconstitutional and the Canada Elections Act was subsequently amended to adjust for the change in Bill C-76.
