After being admitted to the hospital on Tuesday as a result of her previously diagnosed tonsillitis, Cyrus took to her Instagram Story to share pics of Cody Simpson visiting her.

Cody Simpson and Miley Cyrus' romance is something straight out of a Nicholas Sparks novel. But things started looking up last night when she got a "DR." visit from her new love interest, sharing a picture of Cody serenading her with his guitar while sitting on the couch.

Sadly, Miley had to be admitted to the hospital on Tuesday as she's now suffering from tonsillitis.

The 26-year-old entertainer called Cody, 22, her boyfriend in a post on her Instagram Story.

She mentions in one snap that her "BF" is coming to visit her in 'the hospy'. Posing in her hospital gown, Miley revealed that she was trying to get better before this weekend's charity event named Gorillapalooza. "Suddenly I am feeling much better", she captioned the first video of her boyfriend (her words, not ours) singing an unreleased song titled, "Golden Thing". "So I am now pressuring him to DROP IT next week.& it's working #GoldenThing".

"[Miley] wants to show people she isn't willing to change to satisfy others".

"It's too special to be only heard in full by my ears", she continued in another video from her hospital bed with Simpson. Though people were a bit taken aback that she'd moved on so quickly, The Hills reality starlet seemed like a good match for the songstress.

Miley's hospitalisation comes after an intense few weeks for the "Malibu" hitmaker, who has recently announced her split from her estranged husband Liam Hemsworth, as well as dating and breaking up with Kaitlynn Carter.
