OPPO Releases New Flagship Reno Ace

Oppo Reno Ace Gundam Edition

For games, the OPPO Reno Ace is equipped with a variety of Boost technologies to improve touch response speed, frame rate and network connectivity.

Oppo has finally launched the Reno Ace: the smartphone that piqued everybody's interest when it was announced that it will arrive with 65W charging.

The smartphone supports the new 65W SuperVOOC super flash charging.

It appears that 64MP quad rear camera is the latest trend. Towards the front, it has a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies.

The chipset is the same Snapdragon 730G with the same RAM and storage options including 6GB/8GB then 128/256GB storage.

But the Reno Ace has a far more capacious, 4,000mAh battery. In India, Oppo has slashed the prices of Oppo F11 and Oppo F11 Pro smartphones.

Sadly though, even though other countries might get the Reno Ace soon, Oppo told Pocket-lint recently that there are no plans to bring the phone - Gundam or not - to the UK. Boo.

Oppo K5 has an In-display fingerprint sensor. Other notable features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC and dual-frequency Global Positioning System.

The Reno Ace will be available in China starting from October 17th, with the 8GB RAM plus 128GB storage version asking for 2,999 yuan (about $420), going all the way up to 12GB RAM with 256GB storage for 3,799 yuan ($534).

Oppo has two colors for the Reno Ace, psychedelic purple and starry night, plus it has a special edition (seen above) based on the popular Mobile Suit Gundam anime series, which comes complete with a custom paint job, a special case, and matching accessories.

For photography, this phone has been provided with four cameras at the back - 64MP camera having Samsung GW1 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, LED flash; 8MP 119 degree ultra-wide sensor with f/2.25 aperture; 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture.

The smartphone comes with three color variants: Polar Sunshine (White), Fantasy Forest (Green), and Cyber Metal (Blue).
