Samsung Galaxy S11 To Feature A Periscope Camera System: Rumor

Samsung Fixed the Galaxy Fold but It's Still Not Ready for Most

Samsung, traditionally, has been one of the last phone makers to release significant Android updates - like going from Android 9 Pie to Android 10 - but it looks like that's about to change.

According to a new rumor, the Samsung Galaxy S11 may have a periscope camera system.

Now, folded cameras indicate periscope-like forms. That's why we think the Galaxy S11 may have something like the Huawei P30 Pro. Folded cameras make it possible for smartphone OEMs to "hide" the camera lens by inserting it sideways in order to make the camera module less prominent, says Thelec. The company hasn't doled out much information about the beta, except the fact Galaxy S10 lineup users will be the first ones to experience the new software.

Including a periscope-style camera which can shoot objects that are far away with considerable clarity may be the feature Samsung is looking for.

Previous reports have showed the Galaxy Fold 2 may use an 8-inch folding screen; with an S Pen slot like on the Galaxy Note series. On top of that, Samsung's only offering the beta for unlocked, Sprint, and T-Mobile variants of the above phones.

The Samsung Galaxy S11 is said to come before the MWC 2020. This is where one finds most of Samsung's tablets and the 2019 Galaxy A series devices that we can't stop swooning over.

Strong sales of Samsung Galaxy Note 10 smartphone collection are limiting forecast revenue falls on the South Korean tech giant, elevating hopes it is getting back on a development track after years of moribund gross sales.

While it would be great to see the Galaxy S10 Android 10 beta hit every carrier in evert region around the world, that probably isn't in the cards. The Galaxy S11 will probably be made out of metal and glass, and ship with Android 10. QHD + OLED panels are also expected to be added.
