Serial stowaway Marilyn Hartman arrested at O’Hare - again

Cook County Sheriff

A woman arrested at O'Hare International Airport Friday night was identified by Chicago police as "known habitual stowaway" Marilyn Hartman.

Update 3:43PM: Marilyn Hartman is charged with one felony count of criminal trespass to an airport, police said this afternoon.

She has accumulated an impressive number of misdemeanors and felonies for her air bound joy rides.

She was ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation after that trip.

Hartman has a long history of sneaking onto airline flights across America.

This isn't the first flight that Hartman has attempted to board in this manner.

In February 15, 2014, Hartman was able to bypass a TSA checkpoint and board a plane to Hawaii without a ticket. She was seen arriving at the airport and scouting out passenger terminals.

The year prior, she was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport after successfully sneaking onto a flight in San Jose, California.

She spent about six months in jail for violating her probation after she returned to LAX and wandered the airport without a ticket. She was sentenced in March to 18 months' probation after agreeing to stay away from Chicago's two commercial airports.

Chicago police this morning told CWBChicago that "a known female habitual stowaway" is in custody, but the department did not identify her by name.
